A 14 x 11 inch oil painting on panel painted at Big Cedar Lodge in southwest Missouri.  The Springfield Plein Air met there to enjoy the colors and scenery and lunch at the Buzzard Roost.  About 85 percent of the painting was finished on location.  Back in the studio I changed some of the darks and added more white flowers.  It was such a pleasant day to be out enjoying the flowers and sunshine.  Not very windy, and the views were great!
