FEATHERED PEONIES

A painting done 75% on location at a local peony garden and 25% finishing touches done in the studio.  I took it to a small show and labeled it as a wet painting.  However, the colors and subject were very nice and it sold despite being wet.  It was ready to hang and was put on a protective surface until the painting could be put displayed in its new home.

This appears to be a beautiful impressionist-style oil painting featuring vibrant floral imagery. The painting shows pink, red, and yellow flowers rendered with expressive brushstrokes against a background of soft greens and blues. The style is loose and energetic with a focus on color and light rather than precise detail.
